Hi my name is Poppy and I have lived at Croft End for 8 years. I am 13.2hh and a very pretty pony. I am so comfy to ride, I don’t do bouncy at all! Children can learn to canter on me because I am like a little rocking horse who goes at nought miles an hour.

My best friend is Minnie pony we like to go out and play in the fields together. Sometimes Minnie gets carried away and won’t be caught when it is time to go back to our stables. I ask her “Minnie, where are your manners?

I had a very poorly tummy four months ago which was very unlike me. I was sent off to hospital which was frightening and confusing. I had to have an operation but it went very well and I made a good recovery so I could come back home quickly, thank goodness! I know that the operation must have cost a fortune but Pat says I am worth every penny because I’m such a good pony. I’m not allowed to do any work now for about six months so I’m just chilling in the field everyday but I’m raring to get going again!

We have all had a fantastic Christmas here, all us ponies and horses were allowed out in the snowy fields which was great for rolling around.
